How to use BurmaGuide.Net

The Burma Guide to Rights and Democracy (BurmaGuide.Net) is designed for easy access to a collection of resources useful to people interested in Burma’s future as a democratic country where the rights of all peoples are honored under the rule of law.

The collection is grouped into 18 ISSUE AREAS for easy browsing. The resource summaries are presented in English, Burmese, Chin, Kachin, Karen, Mon, and Shan. The summaries are searchable in English and Burmese. Summaries in Karen, Mon, Shan and Kachin are presented as PDF files, because easily accessible computer fonts are not available. You may perform a search from any page in which you see the “Search Box” in the upper right hand corner.

Some files are offered as text documents, and other as PDF files, depending in how they were available and in what languages.

BurmaGuide.Net provides many useful resources here, and  also shows the way to many other information sources that can be very useful to people engaged with or interested in the movement towards democratic development in Burma.
