This is the homepage for the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD). CALD is a forum of liberal parties and organizations in Asia which have come together to promote the basic values of liberal democracy. The Council undertakes the following programs and projects: Leadership training; Political dialogues through conferences and exchanges; Political education through seminars, workshops, visits and other appropriate channels; and Exchange of information through publication and research. The site contains news about Asian liberals and democrats, background information about the organization, a link to CALD conferences and workshops, information about CALD’s missions and campaigns, a link to its publications and resolutions on various issues and relevant concerns.
